Q1. What is EasyTee, and how does it relate to Ministry of Shirts?

EasyTee is a subsidiary brand of the Ministry of Shirts, a leading Australian printed apparel company. Both brands operate from the same facility in Armidale, NSW, and share the same printing team and equipment. EasyTee is the self-serve, online-first platform, while Ministry of Shirts handles larger custom and wholesale orders with a more personalised, quote-based process.

Q2. Where are you based, and do you service all of Australia?

We are 100% Australian owned and managed, based in the New England region of New South Wales — specifically at 1 Southern Cross Drive, Armidale NSW 2350. We service and deliver to the whole of Australia and can also arrange international delivery for Australian customers with overseas destinations.

Q3. What types of garments can I order?

We print and embroider on a wide range of garments including T-shirts, hoodies, crew sweats, polo shirts, tank tops, shorts, workwear, hats, tote bags, and youth & kids garments (down to size 2). We stock garments from premium brands including AS Colour, JBS Wear, Gildan, American Apparel, Comfort Colours, Anvil, and Winning Spirit.

Q4. What printing methods do you use?

We use a combination of traditional screen printing on both manual and automatic presses, as well as Contact Colour Printing — a digital format using real printer inks transferred via carrier sheet using automatic presses it’s a kind of DTF. We were the first print shop in Australia to offer this method. We also offer embroidery services.

Q5. What is the minimum order quantity?

Through EasyTee's online platform you can order as few as 1 garment, while bulk pricing kicks in with larger quantities. For larger orders a separate quote can be requested as well.

Q6. How do I place an order through EasyTee?

Placing an order through EasyTee is a simple four-step process: choose your garment from the online catalogue, create or upload your design using the online design tool, pay for your order, then sit back and wait for it to arrive. You can also browse stock images or upload your own artwork, add text, names and numbers, and switch ink or garment colours — all with an instant live price.

Q7. How do I place an order through Ministry of Shirts?

With Ministry of Shirts, you submit an online enquiry by choosing a garment type and filling out the quote form. The team will then create digital mockups of your artwork and send through a detailed quote. Once you approve and pay, the print process begins — screens are made, garments are printed and cured, then packaged and dispatched. This service is for orders of 25+.

Q8. How long will my order take?

From the point of payment to the point of dispatch, production typically takes between 7–14 business days, depending on how busy we are at the time of ordering. Delivery times after dispatch vary by location: NSW and ACT are usually next day, QLD / VIC / SA are 2–3 days, and WA / NT / TAS generally take 3–10 days.

Q9. Do you offer an express service?

Yes, we do offer an express service for customers who need faster turnaround — sometimes even next day. Whether express is available depends on current stock levels and our workload at the time. Express services are offered at a premium rate, so let the team know at the point of ordering if you have a deadline.

Q10. Who do you use for delivery, and can I track my order?

We use a combination of TNT/FedEx and Auspost, depending on order size. Orders of 25 or fewer are usually sealed in a waterproof bag; larger orders are boxed in solid recycled apparel boxes and packed by hand for quality control. When your order is ready for pickup by our couriers, we'll email you with full tracking details so you can monitor delivery in real time.

Q11. Do you deliver internationally?

Our primary service area is Australia-wide. However, where Australian customers have overseas destinations, we can arrange international delivery at an extra charge. Contact us to discuss international shipping options.

Q12. What artwork file formats do you accept?

We support all common artwork formats including Adobe Illustrator (.AI), PDF, SVG, PNG, and JPG. If you're new to design or don't have a graphic designer, we can create artwork for you. You can also use tools like Canva or Kittl to create your own designs and then share them with our art department at artwork@ministryshirts.com.au.

Q13. What if I don't have a design ready?

No problem. Our art team can create a design for you as part of the quoting process. We'll provide digital mockups so you can see exactly how the finished garment will look before you commit. If you'd like to have a go yourself, Canva and Kittl are great free tools — click the links on our website to get started.

Q14. How many colours can I have in my print?

We print in over 2,000 Pantone spot colours and in full colour for some customers. Most customers use an off-the-shelf ink colour to roughly match their artwork. If you require a specific Pantone colour as part of your print, please contact us directly so we can accommodate that. Note that more ink colours may affect pricing.

Q15. Can I change ink colours for different garments within the same order?

Yes — this is known as a 'colour-way press wash'. We stop the press, wash out all the ink, dry the screen, and reset. There is a charge per screen for this process, and we generally require a minimum of 20 garments in each ink colour to justify the change. It's worth planning your ink colours carefully upfront to minimise additional costs.

Q16. Can I order different garment sizes in one order?

Absolutely. You can spread your order across all available sizes — Extra Small through to 5XL on many garments. Standard sizes are XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, and 3XL. Note that manufacturers apply a surcharge for larger sizes (3XL, 4XL, 5XL), and sizing has a manufacturer's margin of error of approximately 2cm.

Q17. Can I order different garment colours in one order?

Yes. You can include multiple garment colours in a single order, though orders with more than 5–6 different garment colours may incur a surcharge. Keep in mind that your ink colour(s) need to work across all garment colours — changing ink colour between garment colours comes at an additional cost per screen.

Q18. Can I mix different garment types in one order to get to the discount rates?

Yes — as long as one garment type meets the minimum order quantity, you can include as many different garment types as you like. For example, an order might include 30 tees, 5 hoodies, 7 crop tees, and 2 tanks. Each garment type is simply priced accordingly.

Q19. Do you print on youth and children's garments?

Yes, we print on men's, women's, youth, and kids garments right down to size 2. For garments smaller than size 8, a minimum addition to the order of 20 garments applies. We carry a range of youth and kids styles from reputable garment suppliers.

Q20. Can I supply my own blank garments?

We don't print on garments supplied by customers. This is because we can only guarantee print quality on garments we source ourselves — we know the fabric composition, manufacturer standards, and quality levels. Retail garments are often not designed for screen printing, and if there's any spoilage during production, we'd have no replacement stock. Our wholesale pricing also means you're unlikely to save money buying garments separately.

Q21. What is your return and refund policy?

Since all our products are custom printed, they have no resale value and we don't accept returns unless the garments themselves are faulty. In those rare cases, we reserve the right to replace faulty goods only. Our trading policies comply with the NSW Department of Fair Trading. We pride ourselves on near-perfect production, but as a general precaution we recommend including a 2% buffer in your order quantity to cover any industry-standard spoilage.

Q22. Who owns the copyright on my artwork and designs?

If you supply your own artwork, the copyright remains with you or the original copyright holder. If we create a design for you and you place and pay for an order, copyright is transferred to you upon delivery. If we create a design but you don't place an order, the copyright remains with us and it cannot be used without payment. It's your responsibility to ensure you have the legal rights to any third-party images or logos in artwork you provide.

Q23. Can I reorder the same design at a later date?

Yes. We keep all client artwork on file for up to 10 years unless you specifically request deletion. Repeat orders generally have a reduced setup fee, and if you're a high-volume regular customer, we may even store your screens inked and ready to go for faster turnaround.

Q24. How can I pay for my order?

Payment can be made online via credit card through the invoice email we'll send you (there is no surcharge for this service), or by EFT directly to our bank account using the details provided on the invoice. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, and JCB.

Q25. Are your printing processes environmentally responsible?

Yes — sustainability matters to us. We use environmentally sound inks, emulsions, and cleaning fluids that are drain safe. We operate our own water recycling unit to wash screens and treat any chemicals unsuitable for standard drain waste. All garments are cured in conveyor ovens at 180°C to ensure long-lasting prints. We source our garments from brands with strong Corporate Social Responsibility records, including AS Colour and JBS Wear.
